Here in Mol an Óige, the Students Council gives our students the opportunity to play an active role in school life. Student council members are democratically elected each year from classes 3rd to 6th. The council meets on a weekly basis with a staff representative to discuss ways of enhancing school life for all pupils. The students in Mol an Óige are passionate and enthusiastic about making the world and their school a better place for all. In recent years the Student Council has made benches for the yard, fundraised to buy sports equipment, laid on coffee mornings for parents and contributed to the school newsletter.
