On the first of May, we celebrate the arrival of summer, by collecting bluebells and other wild flowers to decorate ourselves and our school. We sing songs and tell stories. We use the wild garlic to make some food to share. Around this time, the parents council organise a Bealtainne festival outside school time. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and spend time outside enjoying the beauty of nature.
